But it can also be dangerous.

It’s easy for personal information and photos to be shared with people you don’t know, and people aren’t always who they say they are.

If you’re ever worried about anything that happens on the internet, it’s important you tell a parent, carer, teacher, or another trusted adult straight away.

One of the top worries children tell us they have about the internet is ‘sexting’ the sharing of intimate of images.

According to our work with schools, young people also have concerns around cyber bullying and trolling.
