Gender identity hate crime

Any incident which is perceived to be based upon prejudice towards or hatred of the victim, because of their actual or perceived gender identity.

 

The Equality Act 2010 provides extra protection for every gender identity, if they are treated unequally both in the workplace and whenever they access goods, services, housing and facilities.
