Community scrutiny panel

The community scrutiny panel holds us to account on stop and search issues and helps us improve our use of this important policing approach.

The group, which meets bi-monthly, reviews complaints and promotes best practice. Its members reflect and represent the diverse communities across Bedfordshire.

If you would like to become a member of the scrutiny panel or if you belong to an institution in Bedfordshire and would like to receive free training on Stop and Search please email Community Cohesion.

Training is delivered by the Chair of the Stop Search Panel Montell Neufville in partnership with the Bedfordshire Police Community Cohesion Team.
