Large Fire in Blunham – Can you Help Police?
A large fire in Blunham has resulted in damage worth over £100,000 and police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
The fire service were called to the blaze at about half past midnight on Sunday morning (March 7) to find a number of trailers alight at Abbey Corrugated Ltd, South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham.
The company makes corrugated cardboard and packing and the trailers were full of cardboard. Six were completely destroyed and two others were damaged.
CID officer PC Barry Kerr is investigating the incident, and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or saw anything suspicious that could help determine how the blaze was started. At the moment it is being treated as arson.
