42” TV Stolen in House Burglary
Did you see three people walking in the Berkeley Path area of Luton carry a 42” plasma TV on Tuesday (Feb 23) afternoon?
This is the question detectives investigating the burglary of a house in the area are asking members of the public.
The incident happened at approximately 3.30pm after the resident of the house answered the door to a woman and two men.
The three offenders forced their way in to the home and shouted “where is she? where is she?” before taking the 42” plasma TV, an X Box and a play station.
Detective Constable Colin Knight, investigating, is keen to trace anyone who was in the area and saw the three walking away or getting in to a vehicle close by.
DC Knight said: “This incident has happened in broad daylight and I am sure someone in the area would have noticed a group of people where walking down the road carrying such a large item.
“I would reassure anyone with information that they can speak to the police, in complete confidence, and help identify the people responsible for this incident.”
