Did You See Teenager Assault?

Detectives in Luton investigating the assault of a 15 year old student are appealing for the public’s help.

The incident happened yesterday (Feb 11) in Marlborough Road as the victim was making his way home from school at approximately 4pm.

Two teenage boys approached the victim and hit him in the face.  He was taken to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital where he received treatment to a broken jaw.

Detective Sergeant Marie Gresswell, investigating, is keen to speak to anyone who was in the Marlborough Road area of Luton and saw the assault.

She said: “This appears to be an unprovoked attack and we know there were lots of people in the area at the time.  I am hoping that members of the public will come forward and help independently identify those responsible for this vicious assault.”

Anyone with information can contact DS Gresswell at Luton CID, in confidence, on 01582 394193, or text 07786 200011, or contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
