Dunstable Suspicious Package – Men Charged
Two men have been charged and will appear in Luton Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday Feb 22) in connection with the suspect package found at a building site in Station Road, Dunstable, on Friday morning.
William Robinson, 14/1/80, of Hitchin Road, Luton, and Bradley Riley-Hawkins, 14/6/91, of the same address, have both been charged with placing a hoax device with intent.
Robinson has been further charged with throwing a corrosive substance with intent, which relates to an incident the previous day where a petrol bomb was thrown at workmen. Both men were arrested at their home address in the early hours of Saturday morning.
While no further arrests are anticipated at this stage, officers are still keen to hear from anybody who may have information or members of the public who may have noticed unusual activity on the site overnight Thursday/Friday.
