Police Seek Witnesses to Assault

Bedfordshire Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 29 year old man was assaulted with a metal bar on Friday (Feb 12).

The victim was working at Rogers Panels in Leagrave Road at approximately 10.30am when he saw a man attacking his car with the bar. He went to stop the man damaging the car but was then assaulted.

The victim was taken to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital and released the same day after receiving treatment to a large cut on his chin which required stitches both inside and outside his mouth. 

Paul Baddeley, investigating, believes that this was a targeted attacked and is keen to trace independent witnesses who saw the incident unfold.
