Phone Snatched: Police Appeal For Witnesses

BEDFORDSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had his phone snatched in Houghton Regis.

It happened between 6.30am and 7.00am Sunday (Jan 31) in Tithe Farm Road. A man in his late twenties was approached by a man wearing dark clothing who snatched the phone from his hands.

He grabbed his white Ipod Touch, as the man was reaching to put his phone in his pocket before making off on foot in an unknown direction.

Criminal Investigator Anne Page, investigating, is keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence, she said: “If anyone has information, we would urge them to contact us.”
