Operation Navan – Updated Charges And Court Date
On the direction of the Crown Prosecution Service Bedfordshire Police have charged the following people with Violent Disorder following a disturbance that happened on Sunday August, 30 2009 in the Bury Park area of Luton. They are:

Sikander Nasar, 09 10 88, of Durbar Road, Luton
Sajid Saleem, 27 07 90, of Marlborough Road, Luton
Haris Chaudry, 31 01 89, of Millfield Road, Luton
Matab Ali Shahbaz, 20 04 87, of Grove Road, Luton
Adeel Ashraf, 17 06 89, of Biscot Road, Luton
Ali Nawaz, 20 04 84, of Bolingbroke Road, Luton
Amsud Ayub, 29 06 85, St Ives Close, Luton
Mustafa Younis, 25 11 91, of Durbar Road, Luton
Kasim Akhtar, 06 01 90, of St Lawrence Avenue, Luton
Majid Khan, 18 10 81, of Warden Hill Road, Luton
Sajid Khan, 30 11 91, of Manx Close, Luton
Asman Nawaz, 19 09 90, of Bolingbroke Road, Luton

Nine juveniles from Luton, one aged 17, two aged 16, five aged 15 and one aged 14 have also been charged with the same offence.
All those charged will appear before Luton Magistrates Court tomorrow, February 2, 2010 and not Wednesday as previously quoted.
