Operation Pleat: Eleventh Man Remanded
A MAN who this week was extradited from Poland in connection with Operation Pleat, the long-running investigation into burglaries across Beds and Herts where high value cars were stolen off drives, has appeared in court.
Marcin MIKOLAJCZAK, born 22/09/1980, formerly of Winstanley Road, Wellingborough, Northants, appeared at Luton Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday, Nov 17) charged with conspiracy to commit burglaries and conspiracy to transfer criminal property.
MIKOLAJCZAK, who made no application for bail, was remanded in custody to appear at Luton Crown Court on November 23 for plea and case management hearing.
