Man Remanded In Robbery Cases
A man has been charged and remanded in custody today on suspicion of being involved in two incidents at Bedford on October 12 and 13 this year.
Ciaran McGrath, 30.5.70, of Mile Road, Bedford, was arrested on Wednesday and appeared in Bedford Magistrates Court this morning (Friday Nov 13) charged with two counts of having an imitation firearm with intention to commit crime.
He was remanded in custody and will appear next at Luton Crown Court on February 8 2010.
The charges relate to an armed robbery at the Total garage in Elstow Road, Bedford, on October 12 and one at the Chapman Bookmakers on October 13.
