Neighbourhood Priorities
What you asked us to do
Reduce speeding along Southill Road, Broom and the B658 through Stanford.
Church Street, Langford. Hitchin Road, Newtown and Clifton Road, Henlow.
What we are doing
In order to reduce speeding along the roads
highlighted, speed
checks have continued to be completed. During the
most recent visits to the three locations in Langford,
Henlow and Southill motorists have been advised about
their speed and a few have been issued with Fixed
Penalty Notices. In order to reduce speeding along the
affected roads speed checks will continue to be completed. In addition to this, PCSO Laura Wilson and PCSO Ann Jeeves will continue to visit the above locations
affected by speeding with the Speed Indication Device (SID).
What you asked us to do
Assist with the establishment of a youth club in Langford
What we are doing
The youth club project in Langford is underway. Efforts are being made to gain volunteers to run the club.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and helping out then please contact us.

Tackle Anti-Social Behaviour especially at The Green and Regent Street
What are we doing
We continue to seize alcohol from people found drinking on the streets in
Stotfold. We are carrying out patrols on foot and on cycles around Fairfield Park, especially near where
nuisance bikes are and police vehicles cannot reach.
We are still getting a few problems with nuisance behaviour and drinking on the streets. Stotfold is an
alcohol free zone and PCSO's have the power to seize alcohol from anyone who is drinking alcohol within Stotfold on the street, that also includes the over 18's not just the underage drinkers.
What you asked us to do
Tackle nuisance motorcycles in the Fairfield Park and Astwick Road areas
What are we doing
Nuisance Motorcycles and off road bikes are currently an issue in Stotfold. The main areas affected are
Astwick Road and Fairfield Park which we are continuing to patrol. A kissing gate has been installed at the
end of Brunel Walk which should alleviate the problems at that end of Fairfield Park.
Section 59 notices will be issued to nuisance vehicles i.e. that are causing alarm, distress or annoyance to
members of the public. If the vehicle or person is seen to be causing a nuisance again then the vehicle can
then be seized and crushed. This applies to all vehicles including cars, lorries, vans, motorcycles and also
include mini-motos, mopeds and quad bikes.
