Mini Bike Club
The Mini-Bike Club is a bike club for six to 16 year olds so that youngsters have somewhere that
they can ride their mini bikes, in safety, without causing a nuisance for local residents. It is run by Bedfordshire Police Safer Neighbourhood Officers. The club was founded in July 2007 following a team effort between Bedfordshire Police and fellow members of the local Community Safety Partnership including Houghton Regis Town Council, Leighton and Linslade Town Council, Dunstable Town Council, the former South Beds District Council, Bedfordshire Police Partnership Trust and Crimebeat.
Members will need to use their own bike, wear appropriate safety equipment and parents will need to be present. The course is specially designed and all events are properly supervised by qualified Marshals.
The mini-bike club has been successfully running at Houghton Regis for the last two Years. More recently an additional club has been launched at Leighton Buzzard.
Special thanks go to Superdrug, Wests of Bedford and Vandyke Upper School for their continued support.
