Frequently Asked Questions
The Police National Legal Database (PNLD) maintains a comprehensive database of frequently asked questions (FAQ).
The FAQ database is intended to reduce the number of non-emergency calls to police forces by providing the answers direct to the public via the Internet. The database contains answers to a wide selection of nationally asked questions and the facility for forces to input local information.

The PNLD is managed by the Association of Chief Police Officers but is under the day to day control of West Yorkshire Police. PNLD is a not for profit organisation.
