Chief Officers Dance For Charity
It
could be murder on the dance floor for Chief Constable Alf
Hitchcock, his wife Helen and Assistant Chief Constable Andrew
Richer as they take to the floor in this year’s Strictly Bedford
charity dance off!
The fund raising event is being held on November 3rd and 4th
starting at 6.45pm, in the The Great Hall, Bedford School.
Tickets cost £15 each, and are available from Bridget
Murphy, (01234) 846983 or bridget.murphy@bedfordshire.pnn.police.uk
with money raised going to various charities nominated by those
taking part.
Chief Constable Alf Hitchcock and Helen have nominated the Child
Victims of Crime as their chosen charity, which provides support
and help to youngsters after their traumatic experience. He
is being partnered by a professional dancer while his wife is
partnered by Assistant Chief Constable Andrew Richer who is a
regular dancer in his spare time.
Alf Hitchcock said: “Helen may look better than me, dance better
than me and have more rhythm than me, but it is audience votes that
really count! We are both looking forward to the challenge
enormously, but our biggest hope is that we can raise some money
for Child Victims of Crime, which does a wonderful job”.
